What is SupaDTF?

SupaDTF is a 100% digitally printed heat transfer. Unlike our other heat transfers, there’s no screen-printed base layer of white ink, so there’s no need for a minimum order. This opens up a lot more flexibility for you with the World's Best DTF heat transfers.

When should I use them?

If your print run is less than 20 pieces, it’s the most economical. This makes it perfect for:

  • Custom made-to-order jobs
  • Personalised designs
  • Trialling new options before ordering a bigger run
  • Offering more designs without having to stock up on heat transfers
  • A faster alternative to vinyl heat transfers – no weeding necessary

Why is it better than other DTF transfers on the market?

SupaDTF is the World's Best DTF Heat Transfer because we use a new digital white ink technology that makes the whites brighter and colors more vibrant than other DTF heat transfers. We’ve also created our own adhesive formula, which goes on at a lower temperature. This means there’s less chance of heat marks or burn marks so you can decorate on just about anything – cotton, polyester and blends.

How is SupaDTF different from our other heat transfers?

  • Available in sheets or a roll
  • Most economical for smaller size orders
  • No minimum order quantity
  • No chance of glue lines
  • No Pantone colors or metallics
  • Not suitable for sublimated or patterned polyester

FAQ.

SupaDTF.

SupaDTF heat transfers can be used on cotton, polycotton blends, fleece, light denim, lycra, nylon, elastane and non-sublimated polyester. This makes it perfect for tees, hoodies, stretchy athleisure wear, cotton tote bags.

SupaDTF heat transfers are not designed for fabrics with waterproof coatings or anything with dye that could migrate, like patterned polyester or dark denim. If you’re not sure if your fabric will bleed or not, it’s a good idea to use our Blocker transfer just to be safe (or Softshell Blocker if you’re printing on softshell fabric). These will block any dye migration.
There will be a slight color difference between SupaDTF and other transfers because they’re made using different printing processes. However, unless your garments need to match exactly because they’ll be seen side by side, this shouldn’t be cause for concern.
The SupaDTF and Wearable heat transfers have a lot of similar uses. The decision really comes down to quantity. SupaDTF is more economical for less than 20 pieces. For anything more than that, it’s more economical to use the Wearable.

Yes, but only if you’re printing where the design won’t go over seams (e.g. on a five panel cap). If you want to print over seams, use our Headwear transfers. These are designed specifically for that, and will print beautifully over seams and even mesh without cracking.

No, the colors will be close, but if you need to PMS match a specific Pantone color, we recommend the Wearable heat transfer.

No, we don’t charge any extra fees except shipping, which is calculated before checkout.

Nope! You can order as few as just one if you like.

After you’ve placed your order, your transfers will leave our factory within 1-2 business days. Delivery times will vary depending on your location.

You bet. Like all of our transfers, they’re made from water-based inks, not plastic-based, and are OEKO-Tex certified, so you know they’re not harmful to you or the planet.

They’re independently proven to last 70+ washes before they show any signs of fading or cracking. For most people, that’s a few years – usually longer than the garments they’re printed on!

Like all of our transfers, the SupaDTF is a professional-grade heat transfer that can be used with an air-operated or manual heat press. However, it is NOT designed to be pressed with a domestic iron, or the Cricut Easy Press or any other presses without adequate pressure settings.
