Not only does this heat transfer go on at a lower temperature, it also has a blocker layer to stop dye migration. Perfect for complex fabrics and sublimated blends.
Our Low Melt Blocker heat transfers includes our famous screen printed layer of water-based white ink, as well as our dye blocker.
If there’s an issue with your artwork, we’ll take care of it. Every order is shipped within 1-2 working days, and if you’re not 100% happy, we’ll make it right. (It’s why we win awards for our customer service.)
If you think your fabric may show dye migration even at a lower temperature, use our Lo Melt Blocker just to be safe. It looks and feels the same as the Lo Melt heat transfer and can be used on all the same gear (and more). The only difference is it has an invisible layer that stops any dye from the fabric bleeding through your design, which can help you avoid costly mistakes. So when in doubt, rock the Blocker.
No, but it will stick to water-resistant fabrics. For fabrics that are 100% waterproof, we recommend the Promotional transfer.
They will only work on headwear if there are no seams where you’re pressing the transfer. It will crack on seams, so if it’s a six panel cap, use the Headwear transfer. If you’re printing on promotional gear, Lo Melt Blocker transfers may be used, but for best results we recommend using our Promotional heat transfers.
Nope, just the cost of the transfers and shipping (which is calculated at checkout).
Lo Melt Blockers require a lower temperature, typically 260-270F. Press for 12-15 seconds at 40PSI/firm. Check out our step by step instructions here.
Yes, the minimum order for Lo Melt Blocker heat transfers is 10 identical pieces.

You bet. Like all of our transfers, they’re made from water-based inks, not plastic-based, and are OEKO-Tex certified, so you know they’re not harmful to you or the planet.
They’re independently proven to last 70+ washes before they show any signs of fading or cracking. For most people, that’s a few years – usually longer than the garments they’re printed on!
Like all of our transfers, the Lo Melt Blocker is a professional-grade heat transfer that can be used with an air-operated or manual heat press. However, it is NOT designed to be pressed with a domestic iron, or the Cricut Easy Press or other presses without adequate pressure settings.
