Shirts, sportswear and more where there is a pattern already on the fabric.
  • Sublimated polyester fabrics that bleed.
Colored fabrics that were dyed using heat-to-transfer dye onto the polyester.

What makes it different from other heat transfers?

FAQ.

Blocker.

If you’re not sure if your fabric will bleed or not, it’s a good idea to use a Blocker just to be safe. It looks and feels the same as the Wearable heat transfer and can be used on all the same gear (and more). The only difference is it has an invisible layer that stops any dye from the fabric bleeding through your design, which can help you avoid costly mistakes. So when in doubt, rock the Blocker.

Blocker heat transfers can be used on nearly everything: cotton, polycotton blends, fleece and all polyesters. This makes it perfect for tees, hoodies, stretchy athleisure wear, cotton tote bags and denim. It is often used on sublimated (patterned) polyester and tri-blend fabrics, which may bleed if you don’t use a blocker.

Blocker heat transfers are not designed for fabrics with waterproof coatings or specialty fabrics that require a low temperature heat press. In those situations, use our Lo Melt heat transfers.

Yes, but only if you’re printing where the design won’t go over seams (e.g. on a five panel cap). If you want to print over seams, use our Headwear transfers. These are designed specifically for that, and will print beautifully over seams and even mesh without cracking.

It depends. They can work on some bags, but it’s best to use our Promotional heat transfers, as these have been designed to adhere to ALL kinds of bags and other promotional gear.

You bet. Like all of our transfers, they’re made from water-based inks, not plastic-based, and are OEKO-Tex certified, so you know they’re not harmful to you or the planet.

They’re independently proven to last 70+ washes before they show any signs of fading or cracking. For most people, that’s a few years – usually longer than the garments they’re printed on!

Like all of our transfers, the Blocker is a professional-grade heat transfer that can be used with an air-operated or manual heat press. However, it is NOT designed to be pressed with a domestic iron, or the Cricut Easy Press or any other presses without adequate pressure settings.
